Today marks the grand unveiling of ‘HK 40 – A Commemoration for the Nation’ by Print Plus Sdn Bhd, a campaign celebrating Brunei’s 40 years of independence with a suite of commemorative products.
Kicking off on the 4th of February, the campaign commenced with a teaser for ‘Faces of Brunei: Stories of a Nation.’ This publication pays homage to the influential individuals who have shaped Brunei’s progress over four decades.
“Print Plus Sdn Bhd is proud to launch our campaign which coincides with HK40. It’s an opportunity to commemorate our nation’s journey through a publication that resonates with every Bruneian. We are eager for the stories within ‘Faces of Brunei’ to inspire generations to come,” stated Awg Md Reeda Hj Malik, General Manager of Print Plus Sdn Bhd.
Members of the public are invited to be part of the celebration by nominating individuals who have made significant contributions to Brunei’s journey since 1984. These can be leaders in various fields, whether in the community, arts, and culture, economics, or innovation.
The nominations will contribute to the creation of the commemorative book. Nominations are now open until the 22nd of March 2024. Alongside this pivotal book, the campaign also proudly presents a collection of commemorative medallions, each minted to mark the milestones of our nation’s journey. Only a limited quantity of these sets will be produced and can only be bought on a pre-order basis.
Additionally, an A3-sized Mushaf offering a reverent reading experience, and a series of religious books that reflect Brunei’s spiritual heritage and lifestyle will be released to the public.
